I spied a bottle of beautiful looking octopus at my local store yesterday. The label identified it as ‘marinaded octopus.’ It was made by a local Greek company called Yiannos Catering. It looked like real food, with beautiful chunks of fresh red chilli, slices of lemon and fresh green bay leaves. I couldn’t resist buying it. I’m glad I did. It’s delicious. I thought it would be lovely in a salad with the pomegranate I have in the fridge.
